5 out of 5 overall satisfaction rating from J.D. Power
So far amongst the many big insurance companies in the country, USAA is the only one who got a score of 5 on the JD Power satisfaction survey. This company is known to provide competitive rates, top of the line customer service, and fast and efficient claims processing. The only downside is that they have strict and restricted membership.
4 out of 5 overall satisfaction rating from J.D. Power
There’s only one company that got a 4 out of 5 rating from the abovementioned survey, and that’s Farmers. This company is known to be the seventh biggest insurance company in the country. I think the only thing that’s stopping Farmer’s from getting that coveted 5 out of 5 rating is their rate. Their rate is not as competitive compared to other insurance giants.
3 out of 5 overall satisfaction rating from J.D. Power
Here we have seven insurance giants with 3 out of 5 rating. We have State Farm, GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, Nationwide, Travelers, and American Family on this spot. For State Farm, All State, and Nationwide are known to have high insurance rates but has good to great customer service and claims processing experiences.
GEICO, Progressive, Travelers, and American Family are known to have low or competitive rates, but their customer service and claims processing experience are either mediocre or low quality.
2 out of 5 overall satisfaction rating from J.D. Power
Liberty Mutual is well known as one of the oldest insurance company. However, the company didn’t get a good overall satisfaction rating. They got a low score when it came to customer satisfaction and claims processing experience.
I have to say that it’s good this kind of information prior to signing up for any type of insurance. Knowing the claims process and customer service scores of these companies help a lot in deciding which insurance company to choose.
